Installing the DroneSense Apps

The DroneSense app is available from the Apple App Store.

1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Search for DroneSense.
3. Tap Install and install it on your iOS device.

After installation, the DroneSense app will appear on your device and is ready to use.

The DroneSense app is available from the Google PlayStore on the Parrot Skycontroller USA, as well as Android phones and tablets:

1. Open the Google PlayStore on your device.
2. Search for and install the DroneSense app.

The PlayStore is not available on DJI Smart Controllers, nor Autel EVO II V3 and Max 4T/4N controllers. Follow the instructions in the sections below to install the DroneSense app directly from our website.

1. Open Google Chrome (or other available browser application) on the device.
2. Open this link to download the APK for your DJI Matrice 30/300/350, M4T, M4TD, Mavic 3, Mini 3, Autel EVO II V3, or Max 4T/4N drones: LINK
   *Some mobile browsers may not download the file when you tap the link. If that happens, press and hold the link text and choose Download Link.
   If you have trouble downloading to the device over WiFi, use the instructions in the SD Card section below.
3. Tap Download. You might receive a warning about being unable to scan for viruses. If so, tap Accept this for this release.
4. The download icon in the top corner will stop pulsing when the download is complete. Open the Download folder on the device (Explorer > Internal Memory > Download).
5. Tap the DroneSense APK file you just downloaded and tap Install.

After completion, the DroneSense app should display under Applications and is ready to fly!

* Not for use with Matrice 30/300/350, M4T, Mavic 3, Mini 3, EVO II V3, or Max4T/4N drones - Use the section above for those drones*

These instructions will work for all supported Autel and DJI drones except the DJI Matrice 30/300/350, Mavic 3, Mini 3, Autel EVO II V3, and Max4T/4N drones. Click here for instructions for those drones.

These instructions are for organizations using the Parrot-only version of the DroneSense Mobile app for use with the Anafi 4K, Thermal, USA, and UKR variants. It does not include any SDK or other code for DJI or Autel devices.

1. Open Google Chrome (or other available browser application) on the device.

   If you have trouble downloading to the device over WiFi, use the instructions in the SD Card section below.
3. Tap Download. You might receive a warning about being unable to scan for viruses. If so, tap Accept this for this release.
4. The download icon in the top corner will stop pulsing when the download is complete. Open the Download folder on the device (Explorer > Internal Memory > Download).
5. Tap the DroneSense-Android-Parrot APK file you just downloaded and tap Install.

After completion, the Pilot for Blue UAS* app should display under Applications and is ready to fly!

* As of release 2024.5.6, Pilot for Blue UAS will appear as a new app alongside any previous install of the Parrot-only DroneSense app. Upon installation of Pilot for Blue UAS, we recommend opening the previous DroneSense app with a strong network connection to ensure that any pending flight logs are uploaded to DroneSense Web. Once you've completed this step, you can safely remove the previous Parrot-only DroneSense app from your device.

You can find your version in the top right Settings > General > Versioning.

1. Use a laptop or desktop computer to open the corresponding link for your drone from the WiFi sections above.
2. Copy the APK file from your computer to an SD card.
3. Insert the SD card into the smart controller or other Android device.
4. Open the Device Explorer and tap the SD card to open files.
5. Tap the DroneSense APK file you just downloaded and then tap Install.

After completion, the DroneSense app should display under Applications and is ready to fly!

You can find your version in the top right Settings > General > Versioning.

The DroneSense CoPilot app is available from the Google PlayStore or Apple App Store.

Google PlayStore/Android

1. Open the Google PlayStore on your device.
2. Search for and install the DroneSense CoPilot app.

After completion, the DroneSense CoPilot app should display under Applications and is ready to use!
