Version Numbering Update
Starting with this release, DroneSense will transition from date-based version numbers (for example, 2025.12.10) to a year-based sequential format (for example, 2026.1, 2026.2, 2026.3). This change makes it easier to identify the latest release moving forward.
New Features

Settings Navigation: We added scroll buttons to the Settings screen to make it easier to navigate the lists of icons.

Camera Reset: Recent DJI M3T firmware updates caused camera issues and we added a camera reset button to address the issue.

Firmware Update: Mavic 3T and 3E users should update to the following firmware versions:
- Aircraft: v16.01.00.03
- Remote Controller: v02.01.08.02
- DJI Pilot 2: v16.1.0.46

Change Call Sign and Flight Type: Users can now change their Call Sign and Flight Type without leaving the mission.
- Flight Types were introduced in the Web Update on 1/14/2026. Learn more about Flight Types here.
- Previously, users could view what Flight Type they selected, but not change it.
- Mission: Tap and confirm to change the current mission.
- Flight Type: Tap the drop-down and select a Flight Type.
- Call Sign: Tap to change your current Call Sign.
- Pilot: Tap and confirm to log out the current Pilot and log in a new Pilot.
Bug Fixes
- The Parrot ANAFI UKR will now display the storage amount when an SD card is inserted.
- Previously, internal storage was not shown.
- Firmware version 8.3 enables internal storage when an SD card is not plugged in.
- User Tip: An SD card is still required for Auto Tracking.
- The DJI Matrice 4 series will now save the LEDs During Shooting setting.
- Disabled = Front LEDs turn off when taking a picture or recording a video. The rear LEDs remain active, and the auxiliary light and top beacon stay on if enabled.

Enabled = Front and Rear LEDs will stay on and the bottom auxiliary light and top beacon will remain active based on user settings.
Switch to the Camera view and tap on Settings (1) and LEDs During Shooting (2). - User Tip: LEDs During Shooting is set to Disabled by default and we recommend changing it to Enabled for visibility.
- Resolved a crash when selecting Streaming & Tracking - Open CoPilot App in the Pilot app mission selector.
Miscellaneous
- Going forward, the ANAFI 4K and ANAFI Thermal will no longer be supported. Users should use version 2025.12.10.
- We added additional reporting to better track app crashes. Currently, the data is anonymized and automatically reported without user action.
