This release introduces new ways to organize and manage flight data, expanded Skydio and hardware integrations, and several usability improvements across Operations Hub and Admin settings. Highlights include Flight Types, SPOI for Skydio, and Flight Stitching, along with multiple fixes and performance improvements.
Availability is rolling out by region. See Deployment Status at the bottom of this page for details.
New Features
Flight Types
To help organize flights, we are adding Flight Types to the DroneSense platform.
Flight Types can be assigned to Missions and Flights, with assignment to Calls for Service coming in a future update.
Once the Flight Types are configured, Pilots can select a Flight Type when joining a Mission.
By default, all flights will be set to Unspecified until Flight Types are configured.
The default Flight Types are Maintenance and Training
Note: Filtering, reporting, and exporting to CSV are not currently available but will be added in a future update.

SPOI for Skydio
We’ve added SPOI support for Skydio hardware. When viewing Skydio drones in Operations Hub, you will now see the orientation of the drone and SPOI.
Note: There are some situations where SPOI is not displayed, such as when the drone is looking off into the horizon or directly underneath the drone.
What is SPOI? Sensor Point of Interest — This is a reference to the center point of the camera displayed on the map as a crosshair. It helps pilots and viewers quickly understand where the camera is focused during flight.
Example of SPOI
If you are missing the Skydio integration, reach out to your account manager to ask about adding it to your account.
Improvements
Admin Page Updates
For Organization Admins, we are updating the Admin page, starting with the Settings section. We added a side navigation menu and moved Integrations to their own section. Adding the side menu will reduce the amount of scrolling through the page to find the section you are looking for.
Note: Not all options will be shown for all users.

Checklist Management
If you've created additional Pre-flight Checklists that you want to archive, you can now archive them.
User Tip: Archived Checklists can be found by adjusting the filter settings.
Multiple Skydio APIs
For Organizations linking Skydio accounts to DroneSense, you can now add multiple Skydio APIs. To make it easier to identify accounts, we also added a Name field.
Reminder that the Skydio settings have been moved to the new Integrations menu.

Flight Stitching
During flight operations, interruptions in internet connectivity can create multiple flight records. We've added the ability to stitch those flight records together. This feature is currently opt-in only.
| Organization Admins: Complete this form to request activation of Flight Stitching. |
- You can stitch up to ten flights together.
- When flights are stitched together, a new flight is created, and existing flights are archived.
Learn more about Flight Stitching here.
Additional Hardware Types
For Organizations integrating manned aircraft into DroneSense, we’ve added the Airplane and Rotorcraft manufacturer types, along with Multi-engine, Single-engine, and Helicopter model types.
You'll also see the SiFly manufacturer and the Q12 and Q250 models added to the list as we work to integrate with them.
Fixes
-
Remove Documents and Incidents from Profile: Users can now remove documents and incidents from their own profile by clicking the X.

- Dock Firmware Data: Fixed an issue where Dock firmware and firmware updated fields were not populating.
- Dock Page Layout: Fixed pagination for the Docks grid page.
- Sensor Flight Data: Fixed an issue where edits to initial flights and flight hours for Sensors would not save.
- Flight Card Images: Fixed flight card images that would not appear after switching back to Grid view from Map view on the Flights page.
