This release restricts Magic Video Link management to Organization and Team Administrators, adds an Ops Hub navigation link for enabled organizations, and fixes MVL performance, user reinvitation, and duplicate Skydio flight records.
Improvements
Magic Video Link Permissions
Creating or Editing a Magic Video Link (MVL) is now restricted to Organization Administrators and Team Administrators. This change reflects user feedback and improves security by letting Organization Administrators control which users can manage the MVL feature. Users without the appropriate Role will see the Create Video Link button disabled, and if an MVL exists, the Edit and Remove icons will be disabled.
A message will be displayed to users who do not have Organization Administrator or Team Administrator roles.
If your Organization wants to return to the previous experience, with all users able to manage MVL settings, submit a request to our support team.
New Features
LAANC Airspace Authorization
DroneSense is now an FAA-approved LAANC Supplemental Data Service Provider (SDSP) through its connection with Versaterm Aloft, an FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier (USS). Eligible pilots can submit requests for FAA airspace authorization in controlled airspace directly within their existing DroneSense workflow, rather than coordinating authorization separately. For more on how the integration works, see our LAANC announcement.
New Ops Hub
Added a navigation link to the new Ops Hub in the side menu.
The icon is only visible to Organizations with the feature activated on their accounts and is only available for Organizations on our US server.
Ready to try it? Submit a request. This request must come from an Organization Administrator.

Bug Fixes
- Magic Video Link (MVL) Performance: Fixed an issue where the list of MVLs would hang or fail to load when an MVL had a large number of view counts.
- User Re-invitation After Revoke: Fixed an issue where resending an invite after it was revoked didn't work correctly.
- Skydio Duplicate Flight Records: Fixed an issue creating duplicate flight records for Organizations with multiple Skydio API keys.
