Web Release Notes - October 21, 2026 – DroneSense Support

This release adds LAANC authorization archiving, an Authorizations section on Flight records, and a regional badge on the login page. It also stops flagging newly processed Skydio flights that start or end in the air and fixes archived team restoration and blank notification recipients.

New Features

LAANC Authorization Archiving

LAANC authorizations can now be archived and unarchived from the authorization detail page. Archived records are excluded from the default list view and can be found using the new Archived status filter. This feature is available to all users on LAANC-enabled accounts.

Flight Record Authorizations Section

A dedicated Authorizations section now appears on Flight records when one or more authorizations are linked. It displays the associated LAANC authorizations as hyperlinks, along with COA numbers, in a single view. The standalone COA field has been consolidated into this section.

Regional Site Badge

The DroneSense platform is hosted in several regions worldwide, so we added a flag and code to the login page to help users verify they're signing into the correct region.
Clicking the badge opens the DroneSense Account Login support article.

Skydio Flight Log Alerts Updated

Skydio flights are no longer flagged when the flight log starts or ends in the air, including the “Flight log ends in air” alert. Skydio flight logs typically begin and end while the aircraft is airborne, so these alerts weren’t a reliable indicator of an issue. This change applies to newly processed flights only. Alerts on existing Skydio flights will continue to display.

Bug Fixes

Restore Archived Teams: Fixed an issue where the Restore button for an archived team disappeared after navigating away or refreshing the page. Archived Teams can now be restored by an Organization Administrator at any time. This fix fully resolves the issue we started addressing in Web Release Notes - September 24, 2026.
Blank Recipients in Notification Settings: Fixed an issue where notification recipients who had been disabled appeared as blank chips in Admin > Notifications.
