Altitude Settings
Two new settings give pilots finer control over altitude reference values. Both are accessible in the general settings under Altitude Correction, or by tapping the altitude area of the telemetry bar when either is set. Neither value persists between app launches.
-
Building Height AGL Adjustment: Pilots can enter a building height offset. The adjusted AGL is reflected in the telemetry bar, and the offset value is recorded in the flight logs.
Standard Telemetry Bar View
Condensed Telemetry View -
MSL Correction: Pilots can apply a manual MSL correction via direct offset or via barometric pressure. The resulting Calculated Sea Level (CSL) is shown in the telemetry bar when active and is also recorded in the flight logs.
This feature has to be activated for your organization by our Support Team. Request MSL Correction access.
For more on the telemetry bar, see Telemetry.
Hardware Support
- DJI V5 on Android 17: Android 17 devices can now connect to the latest DJI aircraft (V5). The "DJI is unsupported on this device" alert no longer appears.
- DJI Zenmuse V1 on M300/M350: This speaker can now be connected to the Matrice 300 and 350 and functions the same as on the Matrice 400: only audio recording and file playback are supported.
Australian Environment
-
Australian Environment Login: Entering login code AU now routes to the Australian DroneSense environment.
Our Log in to the DroneSense App support article explains how to use a Login Code.
Bug Fixes
- Thermal Palette Unknown: Fixed an issue where the thermal palette setting would display "Unknown" occasionally on the DJI Matrice 4T and 4TD.
- Single Sign-On Redirect: Organizations that sign in through their own identity provider are now correctly sent to that provider's sign-in page instead of the default DroneSense login page.
