This update adds support for the DJI Matrice 400 drone with H30/H30T cameras and the S1 Spotlight accessory. Improvements include automatic closing of the location search window, expanded street address data beyond the United States, and updated network and stream quality indicators to reduce false warnings. New Drone Support
DJI M400
This update adds support for the DJI Matrice 400 (M400).
Supported cameras:
- H30
- H30T
Supported accessory:
- S1 Spotlight
Improvements
Location Search
- The search window automatically closes after the map re-centers on the search results.
Street Address Layer
Previously, we only had street addresses for the United States (US), and we were missing data from several states. We've switched to another data provider that offers more US address data and adds address data for additional regions outside the United States.
If you already added the US Addresses to the Data and Imagery Layers, the US Addresses is now called Street Addresses.
If you don't already see Street Addresses, follow along with the video or see the steps below:
Steps:
- Open the DroneSense app
- Switch to the map view
- Open the map layer manager
- Switch to Data and Imagery Layers
- Tap on Library
- Expand the Data Layers folder, and scroll down until you see Street Addresses
- Tap Add to Active Layers
- Tap the X at the top of the window to close it
Network and Stream Quality Updates
Packet loss sensitivity for the network icon has been updated to better match industry standards. This reduces false warnings about poor quality when minor packet loss does not noticeably affect streaming in OpsHub.
- Stream quality indicators now use:
- Yellow for packet loss above 1% and below 5%.
- Red for packet loss at 5% or higher.
Bug Fixes
- Controller Battery Status: Fixed an issue affecting drones with a separate phone or tablet connected to the controller. When the drone is powered off, the controller battery level may no longer be available, so the battery icon is now hidden. This applies to DJI Air variants, DJI Mavic variants with standard controllers, Parrot USA and UKR variants, and the Freefly Astro Max.
