Version 2026.16 adds Auto Track for DJI Matrice 3E/3T, firmware mismatch alerts, Parrot Firmware 8.5.0 support, and improved thermal zoom. It fixes DJI zoom, video, and wind-speed issues; a speed-test issue; and Parrot UKR cellular, Center At, and survey problems.

Reminder: DJI LDM authentication key renewal. Version 2026.15 renewed the DJI Local Data Mode (LDM) authentication key for v5 drones. To avoid service interruptions, you must update the DroneSense Pilot app to version 2026.15 or later by December 3, 2026. See the 2026.15 release notes for the list of affected aircraft.

Auto Track on DJI Matrice 3E/3T: Adds support for Auto Track on the DJI Matrice 3E and Matrice 3T.
- Auto Track stops automatically when the target is moving too fast or the pitch is too high.
- Tap the Auto Track (1) button and then tap a target (2) on the screen to begin tracking.

Firmware Mismatch Alert: The app now displays a notification when the aircraft or remote controller firmware does not match the approved firmware version listed in the alert.
The alert does not prevent you from continuing to operate the drone.
The approved version is a firmware version that DroneSense has validated, and it may be older than the firmware currently available from the manufacturer. If your aircraft is on a newer version, it may not have been validated yet, so follow your agency’s policies and proceed with caution. If your firmware is older than the approved version, we recommend updating it at the next opportunity.

Bug Fixes
- DJI Matrice 4 Zoom: Fixed an issue where the Zoom Out buttons were stuck at 7x and would not zoom out any further on the DJI Matrice 4 series.
- DJI Matrice 3T: Fixed an issue with the handling of empty video frames from the DJI Matrice 3T.
- DJI Matrice 350 Wind Speed: Fixed an issue where the wind speed value would jump or flash "10.7 MPH" in the UI on the Matrice 350.
- Speed Test: Fixed an issue where the speed test page would not load.

Parrot Firmware Support: This release provides support for Parrot Firmware 8.5.0, which has been tested by DroneSense.
The Firmware Mismatch Alert will still list 8.4.3 as the approved firmware because the approved version has not been updated yet. This is expected and will be corrected in a future release. - Thermal View: The thermal camera automatically zooms to 2x when it is selected, which provides better detail.
Bug Fixes
- Cellular Connection: Fixed an issue where the UKR GOV would not connect over cellular after a fresh install.
- Center At: Fixed an issue where Center At would not work in DroneSense Remote (DSR) on the UKR.
- Surveys: Fixed an issue where surveys would not execute or would jump to the end on the UKR.
