DroneSense natively supports a wide range of commonly used and sought-after aircraft from DJI, Autel, Parrot. DroneSense also supports other aircraft non-natively (i.e., by a mix of screencasting and in-flight direct data collection and streaming) for an expanding number of non-SDK drones such as the DJI Avata, Skydio aircraft, and others.
Because not all drones function the same, and to ensure and prioritize support for advanced features are available on targeted devices, DroneSense divides aircraft into different classes: Class 2 for the most advanced UAS devices, Class 1 for the 'core' set of drones we support, Class N for the sub-250g category of drones with some limited capabilities, and a special group for any device identified as training-only aircraft, Class T.
DroneSense also allows you to manually manage and track other drones in your fleet that are not currently supported. With our Mobile Streaming and Tracking add-on feature, you can also screenshare the manufacturer's app to DroneSense for many other non-supported drones.
Support for new drones is constantly in development, and in some cases is dependent on software updates from the drone manufacturer. Contact our Support team (help@dronesense.com) or your account representative if you have specific questions about drones not listed below.
Class 2 Drones
Class 2 drones are the most technically complex aircraft to support and have additional enterprise-level functionality and/or more advanced integration requirements from the manufacturer.

Supported Sensors and Attachments for Class 2 Drones
DroneSense has 'generic' support on DJI drones for any spotlight, drop mechanism, and other non-speaker attachments, meaning most attachments that work in the DJI app should also work in DroneSense.
DroneSense has tested and confirmed the following detachable sensors for use on the M30, M300/M350 and M200/210 Series drones on Android:
Drone Series | Sensors | Other Accessories |
M30 Series | -- |
Spotlights: GL60 Mini, LP12 (spotlight only) |
M300/350 Series | H20, H20T, H20N, H30, H30T | Spotlights: GL60+, IR10, Z15* Drop Mechanisms: TH4, FT30-P, BK 30 |
M200/210 Series | XT, XT2, X4S, Z30 | Spotlights: GL60, GL60zoom, Z15 |
* Z15 support on the M300 is also available on iOS
Class 1 Drones
Class 1 drones often make up the core fleet for a UAS program and reside in the middle ground between advanced functionality and the higher cost of Class 2 and the less expensive (but less capable) Class N drones.

Supported Attachments for Class 1 Drones
DroneSense has tested and confirmed the following attachments for use on the Mavic 3 Series drones on Android:
Drone Series | Sensors | Other Accessories |
Mavic 3 Series | -- |
Spotlights: GL10** |
** GL 10 requires firmware version 02.07.01.04
Class N (sub-250g) Drones
Class N (Nano) drones are the small (sub-250g) form-factor drones. While quite capable, they lack native support for some core features such as flight planning. Class N drones are often used for tactical operations.

Class T Drones
Class T (training-only) drones are pre-designated by your agency and your DroneSense account representative as devices that are only to be used for training activities and therefore charged at a reduced license rate from Class 2, Class 1, and Class N drones.
Class T devices can be any type of drone, and are flagged and tracked in the DroneSense Web portal. Contact DroneSense Sales at sales@dronesense.com to address your agency's specific training needs with Class T drones.
Mobile Streaming and Tracking for Non-Supported Drones
DroneSense also supports Mobile Streaming and Tracking (MSAT) for several unsupported drones such as the BRINC Lemur with the use of additional hardware, as described in the attached setup guide. Drone telemetry is not available with this configuration, but Ops Hub viewers can see the video feed when using this feature. Click here to learn more about MSAT.
Manually Tracking Non-Supported Drones
Flights conducted with non-supported drones can still be manually entered into DroneSense Web for tracking.
