DroneSense provides a unified operational platform for a diverse range of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). We support industry-leading hardware from manufacturers such as DJI, Autel, Parrot, Skydio, and more. Support is delivered through a combination of native SDK integration, cloud-to-cloud connections, and mobile streaming. To help agencies manage their fleet licenses and capabilities effectively, we categorize all supported aircraft into specific Classes based on their size, complexity, and intended use.
- Class 2 for the most advanced UAS devices
- Class 1 for the core set of drones we support
- Class N for the sub-250g category of drones with some limited capabilities
- Class T for drones designated for training purposes
DroneSense also allows you to manually manage and track other drones in your fleet that are not currently supported. With our Mobile Streaming and Tracking add-on feature, you can also screen-share the manufacturer's app to DroneSense for many other drones that are not currently supported.
Support for new drones is constantly in development, and in some cases is dependent on software updates from the drone manufacturer. Contact our Support team (help@dronesense.com) or your account representative if you have specific questions about drones not listed below.

Class 2 Drones
Class 2 drones are the most technically complex aircraft to support and have additional enterprise-level functionality and/or more advanced integration requirements from the manufacturer.

Class T Drones
Class T (training-only) drones are pre-designated by your agency and your DroneSense account representative as devices that are only to be used for training activities and therefore charged at a reduced license rate from Class 2, Class 1, and Class N drones.
Class T devices can be any type of drone, and are flagged and tracked in the DroneSense Web portal. Contact DroneSense Sales at sales@dronesense.com to address your agency's specific training needs with Class T drones.
Screen Share and Mobile Streaming and Tracking for Non-Supported Drones
DroneSense also supports using Screen Share and Mobile Streaming and Tracking (MSAT) for several non-supported drones, such as the DJI Avata, Autel Alpha, Autel Dragonfish, BRINC Lemur, and Sky-Hero Loki, with the use of additional hardware, as described in the attached setup guide. Drone telemetry is not available with this configuration, but Ops Hub viewers can see the video feed when using this feature.
Learn more about MSAT.
Manually Tracking Non-Supported Drones
Flights conducted with non-supported drones can still be manually entered into DroneSense Web for tracking.
Legacy Drones
Legacy drones are no longer supported by the manufacturer, but still work with the DroneSense platform. Legacy drones may receive bug fixes only (no new feature development) and may have limited troubleshooting support.
