For an autonomous flight, the drone will fly to a distance away from the selected waypoint where it will have a view of the specified point. That way, the drone will not be directly above the selected point.
When you drop the waypoint, a radius is drawn around it to indicate the stopping point the drone will be able to view the specified location based on the default gimbal angle. You can adjust where along the radius you'd like the drone to stop by dragging the point along the circle.
