Beginning with the release of DroneSense Blue build 2025.6.18, specific Parrot Anafi USA GOV models will no longer be developed within DroneSense.
The differentiator is that they have the Tab A (2019) instead of the Tab A7 Lite (2021). These can be identified by whether they’re running Android 11 or 14. The 2019 Tablet does not have the processing power to be continuously upgraded with the DroneSense Blue application. Due to this fact, our engineers have stopped developing and improving that application for this controller model. Development will continue for the newer model Parrot Anafi USA GOV controller models, with Android 14 installed.
This article will provide information on which aircraft controller will be supported, how to identify the supported controller, where to find a supported build for your controller, and finally, how to upgrade a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite controller to Android 14 if it is not currently running it.
The last app release for older controllers can be found here.

Parrot Anafi USA GOV Controller Android Update
There are some cases where the Parrot Anafi USA GOV controller will have the newer 2021 Samsung A7 Lite Tablet, but be operating on Android 11. This Tablet can be updated to Android 14, and load the new DroneSense Blue Application.
To accomplish this, navigate to the General Management section on the Tablet's Settings page and click Factory Data Reset. Caution: This will Erase all Data, including files and downloaded Applications from the tablet.
Once the factory reset has been completed, the user can navigate to the Software Update section of the Tablet's Settings page and Download and Install the software updates until the tablet reaches Android 14. At that point the user can download and install the latest versions of both Parrot FreeFlight 6 USA and DroneSense Blue via the Google Play Store.
