The DJI Mavic 2 series offers several accessory attachments (strobe, spotlight, speaker) which can be controlled through DroneSense. The attachments should be recognized as soon as they are connected without any additional steps. If it does not, check out these Troubleshooting steps.
Strobe
After attaching the strobe light accessory the Strobe Light button will be displayed on the screen. Tap it once to turn it on and the button will change to blue. Tap it again to turn it off. There are no other settings for the strobe light. The Android and iOS versions are the same.
Spotlight
After attaching the spotlight light accessory the Spotlight button will be displayed on the screen. Tap it once to turn it on and the button will change to blue. Tap it again to turn it off. The button will change color based on spotlight temperature from blue to orange to red.
To adjust the spotlight brightness click on the Settings button in the top right corner and scroll down through the window until you find the MAV with spotlight button. In the iOS version look for the Spotlight icon.
Use the slider or -/+ buttons to adjust the brightness.

Speaker
After attaching the speaker accessory the Speaker button will be displayed on the screen.
Clicking on the Speaker button opens the Speaker window. There are slight differences between the Android/Smart Controller and iOS versions of DroneSense.
Android/Smart Controller Version
Play Audio
If there are any audio files stored on the drone they will be listed with play and trash can (delete) buttons next to them.
- Speaker Volume can be controlled with the slider.
- Play in Loop will keep playing the selected item back continuously until you click stop.
- Press the Play button to play back a saved item.
- Press the Trash Can to delete a saved item. There is no confirmation prompt so make sure you want to delete an item.
- If you want to change the name of any of the audio files you will need to use the DJI Pilot app.
Record Audio
- Persist File will save the recording to the drone.
- Instant Play will play the recording back after you finish recording.
Press the red microphone when you are ready to start recording. A counter will start counting up after you press the button. When you are finished press the red microphone again. If you have turned on Instant Play the recording will start playing back immediately.
Go back to the Play Audio screen to play back the recordings. The recording will be shown in the list with the name AUD and a date/time stamp. If you want to change the name you will need to do so in DJI Pilot.
iOS Version
When you click on the Speaker button the Speaker Settings window will open.
Record Audio
Press the red microphone when you are ready to start recording. A counter will start counting up after you press the button. When you are finished, press the red microphone again. If you have turned on Play audio immediately after recording the recording will start playing back immediately.
Go back to the Play Recorded Audio screen to play back the recordings. They will be shown in the list with the name AUD and a date/time stamp. If you want to change the name you will need to do so in DJI Pilot.
Play Recorded Audio

Troubleshooting
Sometimes the associated button does not show up in DroneSense. If it does not try restarting the app. If it still does not turn off the drone and then remove the accessory. Inspect the connectors for damage or debris and reattach the accessory. Turn the drone back on and check the app. If the button still does not show up check the DJI Pilot app to see if it is recognized there. If you are still having issues contact our Support team
