To access DroneSense Remote (DSR), open a web browser to remote.dronesense.com and enter your login credentials: Org ID, email, and password.
The initial view of the DSR webpage looks like the following image:
- The Taskbar on the left contains options for viewing configured drones and devices, launch sites, emergency sites, controller configuration, and geofences. Clicking an icon will open the corresponding item.
- Operations Hub and Airbase can be quickly accessed by clicking the Remote link in the upper left corner.
- The Location Search bar allows users to search for specific locations by name, address, or by specifying a lat/long.
- The upper right corner of the screen allows users to access their Local Media and Local Weather, and the upper right will enable users to access their User Profile settings.
- The Map Controls allow you to zoom in and out, recenter the map, change the map type, and add visual overlays.
- The Settings menu allows you to set Unit preferences to metric or Imperial, configure Max Bitrate, set up a Custom Search Area, Enable Keyboard Flying, enable Video Recording, set the default sensor setting to Wide Angle during takeoff and recording, Simulate Dock Flights, and clear the local cache. The tooltips for each item provide more information about each setting.
When you first open the DSR webpage, it will prompt you to add a controller. However, you do not need one attached to your computer to perform common configuration tasks such as setting up Launch Sites, Emergency Sites, Geofences, and so on.
