Overview
The DroneSense Certified Instructor Course is an intensive, three-day program tailored for current users ready to scale their operations. This course empowers participants to build expertise, providing the essential tools to train, support, and lead a high-performing team of DroneSense operators within their agency.
Students demonstrate mastery through teachbacks and a final course exam. Graduates earn a DroneSense Certified Instructor Certification, valid for two years, with the option to renew through ongoing training and a one-day recertification class.

Prerequisites & What to Bring
- This course is open to current DroneSense users only
- Students must possess a valid Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent
- Students must complete specified online DroneSense Academy coursework prior to class (more information will be provided after registration, about 4 weeks prior to the course)
- Students must bring a laptop
- It's recommended that students bring a UAS platform loaded with the DroneSense application
- Students must have a DroneSense login
