Web Release Notes - February 25, 2026

Public Dashboard

This web update introduces a Public Dashboard that allows users to share selected flight data externally.
Mark flights as Public and add a custom description to display on the Public Dashboard.

Changes:

• A Public Dashboard toggle has been added.
• A new field called Description (For Public Dashboard) has been added.
  
• A sortable Public field was added to the List view.
  
• Bulk publish flights using multi-select and the Bulk Update action.
  
  

Important Notes:

• The Public Dashboard is not enabled by default and must be configured. Organization Admins need to go to Admin > Settings > Public Dashboard and complete the configuration.
  
• Flights will not be displayed until the Add to Public Dashboard toggle is turned on. 
  

Admin Pages Updates

Members

The Members page has been updated to a new layout with condensed views and additional data.

• Active Members: The list of Active Members has been replaced with summary counts of Active and Inactive members. Click View to see the filtered list on the Members page.
  
• Pending Invites:  We renamed Pending Member Invites to Pending Invites, and you can now search the list of pending invites. Resend or Revoke an invite by clicking the related icon.
  
• Invite Member: The Invite Member button has been repositioned but remains on the Members page.
  The invite flow has been updated to include the revamped Organization Admin role.

Roles

The Roles page has been updated to a new layout, and we are introducing a new framework to allow for Org-Wide Roles.

For new customers, custom Roles are now available upon request.
There is no additional cost; however, access must be enabled by our team to prevent configuration errors.

Org-Wide Roles

This release introduces the underlying framework for Org-Wide Roles. At this time, the only visible change is that the existing Organization Admin role is now categorized as an Org-Wide Role. No new permissions or capabilities are being added yet.

This foundation will enable future Org-Wide Roles, which will be rolled out in upcoming releases.

Subscriptions -> Licenses

The Subscriptions page has been replaced with a new Licenses page
The new Licenses page gives Organization Admins clearer visibility into licensed hardware and features, as well as available add-ons.

Integrations Updates

SafeSky:  Integrate your SafeSky account to enable real-time flight information. This field only needs to be completed if you have your own SafeSky account. If no API key is provided, the system will fall back to using the shared DroneSense API key. This setting does not currently affect the DroneSense mobile apps.

Flight Types Improvements

• CSV Export:  The Flight Type has been added to the flight data download. If the Flight does not have a Flight Type assigned, the field will be empty. Learn more about Flight Types.
  
• New Helper Text:  Descriptions for the fields to clarify their purpose.
  • Allowed Flight Types for Mission:  Users will only be able to choose from the Flight Types enabled here. The Default Flight Type cannot be deselected.
  • Flight Type:  Serves as the default Flight Type for joining the mission.
    

Hardware Page Updates

• Class Update:  The Matrice 4T was incorrectly listed as a Class 1 and was changed to a Class 2.
  
• Matrice 4TD Stock image added
  

Misc

Flight Planning Updates: 

• New Models:  In the DroneSense Pilot app, the DJI Matrice M4T and DJI Matrice 4TD are now available in the Flight Planning Setup menu.
• Max Altitude: The max altitude has been updated for the following drones:
  • Anafi UKR -> 4000m
  • IF800 & 1200 -> 500m
  • Mini 4 -> 500m
