DroneSense Remote Update

Overview
This release introduces significant improvements to media recording and management, enhances airspace awareness, and resolves several backend issues to ensure smoother operations for DFR teams.
New and Improved Features
Media Manager Updates
- New video recording settings

Record Entire Flight to Media Manager
- When enabled, the entire flight's local video feed will be recorded to the Media Manager. The video recording button in the flight controls window will only apply to drone and dock camera recording.
- Important: There is no way to stop this recording.

Download Media to Disk
- When enabled, media files will be downloaded to the local hard drive for offline access.
- After the remote operator ends the flight, the flight video will be automatically downloaded to the local hard drive (in the Downloads folder, unless specified otherwise).
- Any screen captures
taken during the flight will also be downloaded to the Pilot’s device.

Record Entire Flight to Media Manager
Updated Airspace Awareness Source Indicators
- Added source indicators to the airspace awareness indicators on the map.
- Settings can be found under Airspace Management > Display Settings.
- Display Source Outline Color will add a color border to the indicator.
- Display Source Text will add a colored label to the indicator.
- Each source type has its own color

Recording Indicator
- New Recording to Media Manager indicator (red dot), which will blink when recording media.
Record Button Changes
- Pressing the record button will now save the video to both the Media Manager and Drone Storage.
- If Record Entire Flight to Media Manager is enabled, that will be the only video saved to the Media Manager.
- If Record Entire Flight to Media Manager is disabled, multiple recordings during a single CFS will be spliced together and uploaded to the Media Manager.
Storage warnings
- New warning when browser storage exceeds 10GB and 50GB.

Record on Takeoff Changes
- If you turn on Record on Takeoff (under launch site settings), it now works on Docks and DFR v1.0. (Saved to drone/dock, not in Media Manager)
Call for Service
- For multiple CFS flights, each CFS will have its own video and photos in the Media Manager.
Reduce Notifications
- Added a Hide Non-Critical option under alerts within the Remote Operator window.
Photo Mode Switch Behavior
- Users are now blocked from changing to Photo Mode while actively recording video to the drone storage.
Miscellaneous Dock Changes
- Dock cameras are now only active when in use.
- The camera button on available docks in the Remote Drones list has been removed.
- The Dock camera will turn on when the user enters Remote Maintenance or Takeoff mode.
- The Scheduled button under Charging is now state-aware and will enable when actions are available.
- Updated the “Calibrating” state of a Dock in the Remote Drones list to accurately reflect the true state “Needs Calibration”
- Informing the customer to calibrate their dock manually
- Removal of the dock video button when the dock is offline
- This is made to match when the dock is online
Backend Fixes
- Fixed video latency impacting the Remote Operator’s ability to use Drag to Pitch and Yaw.
- Fixed the issue where docks were not removed from the database if the connected site was removed first.
- Users can now re-add the missing dock to a new site using the Add Dock setup procedure.
- Increased threadpool size
- This addresses the issue where the thread limit on the Dock side is lower than the Server side.
- This will reduce the need for customers to request broker restarts after multiple takeoffs.
Known Issues
Media Manager Totals
- Media Manager Totals do not dynamically update when media is removed.
- To refresh the totals, close and reopen the Media Manager.
