Installing the Axon Air Mobile App

Current Version: 2023.6.1 - Please update your app if you are on an earlier version. You can find your version in the top right under Settings > General > Versioning.

The DroneSense app is available from the Apple AppStore on supported Autel, Parrot, and Android phones and tablets:

1. Open the App Store app on your iOS device.
2. Search for Axon Air powered by DroneSense and install it on your iOS device.

The Axon Air Mobile app is available from the Google PlayStore on supported Autel and Parrot smart controllers, and Android phones and tablets:

1. Open the Google PlayStore on your device.
2. Search for and install the Axon Air powered by DroneSense app.

The PlayStore is not available on DJI Smart Controller and CrystalSky devices. Follow the instructions in the sections below to install the DroneSense Mobile app directly from DroneSense.

1. Open Google Chrome (or other available browser application) on the device.
2. Open this link to download the APK for your Matrice 30 Series, Mavic 3 Series, or Mini 3 Series drones: LINK
   If you have trouble downloading to the device over WiFi, use the instructions in the SD Card section below. 
3. Tap Download. You might receive a warning about being unable to scan for viruses. If so, tap Accept this for this release.
4. The download icon in the top corner will stop pulsing when the download is complete. Open the Download folder on the device (Explorer > Internal Memory > Download).
5. Tap the Axon Air APK file you just downloaded and tap Install.

After completion, the Axon Air Mobile app should now display under Applications and is ready to fly!

* Not for use with Matrice 30, Mavic 3, or Mini 3 - Use the section above *

These instructions will work for all Autel, Parrot, and DJI drones except the Matrice 30, Mavic 3, and Mini 3 Series drones. Click here for instructions for those drones.

1. Use a laptop or desktop computer to open the corresponding link for your drone from the WiFi sections above.
2. Copy the APK file from your computer to an SD card.
3. Insert the SD card into the smart controller or other Android device.
4. Open the Device Explorer and tap the SD card to open files.
5. Tap the Axon Air APK file you just downloaded and then tap Install.

After completion, the Axon Air Mobile app should now display under Applications and is ready to fly!
