The deployment included auto-archiving empty flight logs, organization-level language preferences, and support for the Skydio R10 hardware catalog and the DJI Matrice 4E flight planning. Bug fixes addressed contact management, serial number display, ESRI stream layer errors, email delivery, and map view reliability. Backend authentication improvements and Aloft integration are underway. Some users experienced a temporary outage during deployment, which has now been resolved.
Improvements
Flight Log Archival
Auto-Archive Empty Flight Logs: Flight logs with empty record sets (no altitude data, zero-second duration) are now automatically archived. These logs do not qualify for stitching.
Organization Language Preference
Default Language at the Organization Level: Now, when Organization Admins set the default Language and Units of Measurement, new users added to the account will automatically inherit those settings.
Hardware Management Improvements
Skydio R10 Hardware Support: Added the Skydio R10 drone and battery to the hardware catalog, including the aircraft image displayed on the drone card and detail page.
Flight Planning for DJI Matrice 4E: Flight planning is now available for the DJI Matrice 4E. If it is not appearing in the Setup menu in the DroneSense Pilot app, make sure you are running the latest version and restart the app.
Note: The DJI M400 may appear in the Setup list, but it is not yet supported in the DroneSense Pilot app. Support for this model will become available in an upcoming app update.
Bug Fixes
- Contacts: In the Operations Hub Contacts Manager, adding a contact who is a disabled member will no longer fail. If the Member is later enabled, the Contact will be automatically removed.
- Drone Details: Long aircraft and controller serial numbers now wrap correctly on the drone detail page rather than overflowing into adjacent columns.
- ESRI Stream Layer: Resolved an issue causing phantom drones at coordinates (0,0) to appear in ESRI Stream Layer integrations. Only live, connected drones are now transmitted to the stream layer.
- Daily Rollup Email Delivery Failures: Resolved an issue where the automatic daily organization rollup email failed to send for some users.
- Map View Reliability: The map view on the Flights & Mission page now loads reliably in both the My Flights and All Members views, resolving an intermittent issue in which the map cluster failed to render.
Behind the Scenes
Authentication: We are upgrading our authentication service to support additional flexibility and functionality in future releases. Some users may begin seeing updated authentication screens during the rollout.
Aloft Integration: We are working on future integrations with the Aloft platform to enhance your UAS operations.
