The Operational Status Panel can be utilized for various functions, such as tracking equipment status, designating the aircraft as a Trainer, and Archiving Aircraft. Additional information displayed will be the license class for that Aircraft and to whom the aircraft is assigned.
Archiving an Aircraft
There is no function within the DroneSense System to delete hardware; it can only be achieved as DroneSense is a System of Record. Once archived, it will be removed from your active aircraft roster, but your records for that aircraft will be maintained.
To archive a piece of hardware, navigate to the aircraft's Detail Page within DroneSense, within the Operational Status Panel of the page, and then click the Archive radio button on its Details page.
To un-archive the device, click the Archive button again.
Operational Status
By default, all unarchived hardware is set to Operational status. To update a device's operational Status, click the Operational Dropdown and select the correct status for that aircraft.
Please note that changing the status here will not prevent the aircraft from being flown, it is only for tracking purposes.
