New and Improved Features

• New SAR Patterns for Flight Planning: Plan autonomous flights with Line Search, Parallel Search, and Grid Search actions for more precise and efficient search operations. DJI v5 Aircraft only in this release.
• Higher Altitude for Surveys: Increased maximum altitude when setting a survey action for greater flexibility.
• Autel Enhancements
  • Firmware Update: Now supports Autel EVO Max firmware v1.8.2.237. Autel EVO MAX customers should manually apply the aircraft and RC firmware; those already on v1.8 also must upgrade.
  • New Model Support: Added base compatibility for the Autel EVO Max 4T XE.*
  • ADS-B Integration: Enhanced situational awareness with ADS-B support for the Autel EVO Max series.*
    * Requires update to version 1.8.2.237 firmware from Autel.
  • Better Startup Connection: Improved connection reliability on startup for Autel EVO II V2.
• Most customers should now no longer need to manually manage background apps, with the following exceptions:
  • Autel EVO II V2 users should ensure successful connection in the Autel Explorer app before using the DroneSense app. The Autel Explorer app must be left running when using the DroneSense app. In-flight switching back-and-forth between the two apps is not recommended.
  • DJI Mini 3 customers must ensure that the DJI Fly app is not running when using the DroneSense app.
  • Parrot customers must ensure that the Parrot FreeFlight (6, 6 USA, and 8) apps are not running when using the DroneSense app.
• Refined Alerts: Weak RC alerts are now suppressed when using the cellular module (international only).

Bug Fixes

• RTH Altitude Display Fixed: Resolved an issue where Return-to-Home (RTH) altitude settings appeared to allow values above the max limit.
• Better UI on Smaller Screens: The mini video window no longer slightly overlaps map controls on compact devices.
• Battery Threshold Fix: Corrected an issue where the critical battery threshold could be set above the maximum for EVO Max and EVO II.
• Fixed a bug where reopening the DroneSense app would not manage the manufacturer's app as appropriate, e.g. automatically closing DJI Pilot.
