Community Impact

You should always be mindful of how the UAS presence will affect those who will be in attendance. Are you respecting your community’s 1^st and 4^th Amendment rights?

“ Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. ”

“ The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. ”

Consider the potentially suppressing effects that drone operations might create on a demonstration or rally. If the event is a demonstration, protest, or other religious or political event, make sure you can articulate the basis and objectives for your mission outside of these protected activities.
