The previous version of the DroneSense platform, referred to informally as version 2 (or v2), is in the process of being deprecated.
DroneSense Pilot
The v2 flight control app, DroneSense Pilot, is no longer active. Attempts to log in to that app will fail. You can safely delete the DroneSense Pilot app from your device.
To fly with DroneSense on the DroneSense 2020 platform, you will need to download the DroneSense app:
- On iOS, you can find it in the App Store by searching for DroneSense.
- On Android, you can download it directly from us at dronesense.com/android.
Remember that your v2 credentials are not the same as what you will use for DroneSense 2020. Logging in with DS2020 will require your email, password, and the Organization ID provided by your local admin. If you haven't yet set up a profile in DS2020, you will need to reach out to your local admin.
DroneSense OpsCenter
The v2 streaming and command interface, OpsCenter, is also no longer in service. To access the DS2020 version, log in to web.dronesense.com/ops. You'll need your DS2020 credentials as mentioned above.
Access to v2 Data on AirBase
Currently, only the v2 data management portal, AirBase, is still available to users with accounts on that version of the platform. AirBase provides access to all program data acquired on that version of the software. Data migration to DroneSense 2020 is still in progress.
